Choice Model: Partner Hosted
Like many hosted solutions the idea here is to both amortize the upfront licensing and hardware costs and relegate maintenance responsibilities to your hosting provider. This solution is extremely flexible. Due to the ability to pay on either a monthly or annual basis, businesses can add or remove seats as needed, without penalty. Licenses are only subscribed to when they are used. You do not need to make the upfront capital investment of purchasing licenses in this model. In this solution, the major advantage is the ability to grow and shrink your user count dynamically, as well as the alleviation of large initial startup costs.

There are two basic types within the hosted solution. Through these we illustrate how to remove the pain points of getting to know Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
SaaS is the least expensive front end version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The software and hardware are all paid for on a month to month basis allowing the customer to only pay for what is needed for the specific time that it is being used. You only pay for what you use.
Host Only
The “Hosted Only” version of CRM is when licenses are purchased a la the traditional on premise model, and Streamline Solutions hosts the software through our data center. The advantage of this solution is that much of the monthly cost is removed from the recurring charges, while still leveraging the hosting provider's hardware infrastructure and support services. We often suggest companies start with the “SaaS” solution to get a feel for the program, and then move to the “Hosted Only” solution once they know what they are getting into. In this way, you remove the pain points of an “On Premise” solution, which also provides you a logical path that lets you ease into Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
